AFL VICTORIA COACHING AND UMPIRING GRANTS 2023

In 2023 in Victoria, clubs who achieve a 1:1 ratio of female umpires/coaches to Women’s and Girl’s teams will be eligible to apply for a Women and Girls Umpiring or Coaching grant.

AFL Victoria has introduced these two new club funding initiatives as part of the first phase of the Women and Girls Game Development Action Plan. The initiatives have been designed to open more doors for women and girls to enter coaching and umpiring, and to offer financial support for Women’s and Girl’s football programs at community clubs.

These grants will remain open for the 2023 season, or until funding allocation has been exhausted for each grant.
