When it comes to road safety we’re all on the same team, and teammates don’t let teammates check their phones while driving. That’s why the TAC is partnering with the footy and netball community to launch a road safety campaign created by you.
Play your role in the fight against distracted driving by telling us what you’d say to your mate to stop them from checking their phone from behind the wheel.
Your bit of banter will go towards a rewards grant for your footy or netball club and might even end up on posters, social media posts, and some sweet merch. Get creative, keep it positive, and check the terms and conditions for details.

AFL Victoria and the TAC will collect and use your personal information such as first name, email, and age for the purpose of participating in The Best Banter competition only. Details will be provided to a third party agency who are assisting the TAC run this competition. Participants acknowledge that their banter, first name and sporting club name may be published by the TAC for promotional or marketing purposes if selected as a winner.
By submitting a piece of banter, participants agree to assign all intellectual property rights, including any copyright or trademark associated with the banter, to TAC. The participant indemnifies the TAC for any infringement of intellectual property rights of any third party in relation to the banter submitted.
