Vic squads named with clubs represented throughout the state

The AFL has released the Victoria Country and Victoria Metro squads for the match between the two sides this Sunday 20 March, the first game of the 2022 NAB AFLW National Championships – Girls U18.

The Victoria Country – Victoria Metro game will take place at Mars Stadium in Ballarat, starting at 12:00pm. It will showcase a number of future stars of the women's game who are sure to feature prominently in the 2022 NAB AFLW Draft.

The squads are set to feature players from a number of different metro and regional Victorian clubs with some clubs contributing multiple players to the squads. Beleura JFC is the most well-represented club with four players selected to the Vic Country squad (Mackenzie Eardley, Taylah Gatt, Bianca Lyne, Charley Ryan), whilst Eaglehawk, Blackburn, Sunbury, Rowville, East Sandringham, and Caroline Springs have also had multiple players selected.

How to watch: The Victoria Country v Victoria Metro match will be live streamed free via womens.afl and the AFL Women's Live Official App. Entry at the gate is free.
