Vic rising stars picked for U18 training hubs

With 68 different community football clubs from across Victoria represented, the squads showcase the depth of young talent in all regions and the strength of community football in the state.
Players involved in the summer training hubs took part in football and wellbeing programs and were provided with individual development plans.
Victoria Country and Victoria Metro will conduct trial matches in April ahead of the 2024 National Championships, with players to be added to both squads for the trial games.

Many of the best underage footballers in Victoria came together to prepare for the upcoming 2024 season as part of the Victorian summer training hubs program.
89 boys and girls participated in high-performance training camps for under 18 footballers, held last week in Gelong (Vic Metro) and Ballarat (Vic Country), aimed at further assisting in their preparation for the 2024 Coates Talent League season.
With 68 different community football clubs from across Victoria represented, the squads showcase the depth of young talent in all regions and the strength of community football in the state.

All players selected are born in 2006 or 2007 and will be eligible for selection for the 2024 AFL National Championships. All 2006-born players will be eligible for the 2024 AFL and AFLW Drafts.
